A green space developed along the eastern bank of the Yoshii River (吉井川) in Yuge, Seto-cho (瀬戸町弓削), Higashi Ward, Okayama City, featuring a multipurpose field, a roller-skating plaza, and a radio-controlled car course. Taking a relaxed walk across the wide riverbed while feeling the river breeze eases the summer heat a little. A spot cherished by locals, it is also a good place to stop and rest up ahead of the evening's fireworks.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Saidaiji Kannon-in. There is little shade along the levee path, so a hat or parasol is reassuring.
