The festival runs from 18:00 to 21:30 (planned), and about 1,200 fireworks shells launch one after another into the night sky from the junior high school grounds, surrounded by mountains. With few tall buildings in this mountain setting, the fireworks spreading across the clear night sky can be enjoyed to the fullest — a real highlight. A fitting moment to close out summer in Sakuto, watched together by the whole community.
