About this spot

An area in Yoshinaga-cho, Bizen City, about a 10-minute walk from JR Yoshinaga Station. This is home to the Yoshinaga B&G Marine Center, the venue for the Summer Festival, which has a gymnasium and martial arts hall along with outdoor sports facilities such as a baseball field, tennis courts, and a multipurpose plaza. On the day of the festival, its main ground becomes the festival venue, with food stalls lining up from the evening. Pick up dinner while taking your time to stake out a spot for the 20:40 fireworks. This is the time when festival excitement gradually spreads through the mountain town.

Tips

Within walking distance of the area in front of Yoshinaga Station. Roads around the venue can get crowded on the day, so if driving, allow extra time. A leisure sheet makes it easier to settle in comfortably.
