About this spot

An area around JR Yoshinaga Station dotted with small shops rooted in the local community. Rest your legs after strolling the rural hamlet while picking up snacks and drinks for dinner. It doesn't have the flashy feel of a typical tourist spot, but its simple atmosphere, where you can sense the everyday life of local residents, is part of its charm. On the day of the fireworks festival, foot traffic increases beyond the usual, and the whole town gradually grows livelier as the festival approaches.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Hattoji Furusato Village. There aren't many shops, so it's reassuring to check the locations of convenience stores and eateries in advance.
