A museum housed in a merchant's mansion that once flourished in the production of sukumo, the raw material for indigo dyeing. Learn about the history of indigo dyeing stretching back to the Edo period and the manufacturing process through actual warehouses and tools. Indigo-dyed fabrics are sometimes displayed in the garden, allowing you to experience up close the beauty of indigo, Tokushima's special product. Indigo dyeing experiences are available on some days, making it perfect for creating family memories.
