A station on the JR Tokushima Line serving as the gateway to the Takakawahara district, where the fireworks are held. Restaurants are scattered throughout the area around the station, making it a convenient location for dinner before the fireworks begin. As evening approaches, families heading to the festival start to appear, and the festive summer spirit gradually builds. Have a good meal here and prepare yourself for the fireworks display.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from the Indigo House. On the day of the fireworks festival, surrounding roads become congested in the evening, so allow plenty of time for travel. Having an early dinner allows for a smooth move to the venue.
Best time to visit
About 2 hours. Having your meal before sunset leaves plenty of time for finding a good viewing spot.
