The Nagahama Akahashi Summer Festival Fireworks, held on August 1, 2026 (Saturday) at 8 PM at Nagahama Waterfront Park at the Hijikawa River estuary. Approximately 1,800 fireworks illuminate the red movable bridge and river surface, creating a memorable display against the calm waterside scenery unique to the port town. It will be a special 30 minutes as your family gazes up at the night sky after experiencing the charm of the "Little Kyoto of Iyo" at Ōzu Castle and Garyu-Sanso.
