About this spot

This is a direct-sales shop for red snow crab near Akadomari Port. It's distinctive for owning its own fishing boat, which is rare nationwide, handling everything from fishing to processing and sales in-house, and boiling freshly landed crab right on the beach for sale. On the day of the Akadomari Port Festival, people begin to gather at the port, letting you feel the simple bustle typical of a small island port town. Watching the sky's colors change as the sun lowers, spend a relaxed stretch of time here having dinner while waiting for the show to begin.

Tips

About 15 minutes by car back to the port from Tada Beach. Being a small port town, not many shops are open. It's reassuring to have an idea of where you'll eat in advance.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes. This is also a good time to enjoy the changing colors of the sky around sunset.
