Held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 19:00, this fireworks display closes out summer in Imazu. From a venue on the shore of Lake Biwa, fireworks launch into the night sky for a full hour. Watching the fireworks with the night breeze crossing the lake is a comfort unique to a town on the shores of Lake Biwa. It is a finale wrapped in the warm atmosphere of a handmade summer festival built by the whole community.
