2026年8月1日(土)開催、第41回川北まつりのクライマックスを飾る北國花火川北大会です。手取川の広い河川敷を舞台に、約20,000発という県内でも屈指の規模を誇る花火が夜空を埋め尽くします。次々と打ち上がる花火が広い夜空いっぱいに広がる様子は、開けた河川敷ならではの大迫力です。地域を挙げての祭りとして、毎年多くの家族連れが訪れる人気の花火大会です。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催の発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が大変混雑するため、時間差での帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いので懐中電灯があると安心です。

It's approximately 10 minutes by car from Kawakita Town Eco Museum. During summer, the sun is intense, so choose a shaded area and take a break.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Early afternoon, when it's slightly cooler, is the most comfortable time to visit.
