The station area features Shonan-style restaurants serving seafood and shirasu (whitebait) bowls—perfect for dinner before the fireworks. As evening falls, anticipation builds among fireworks-goers, creating a vibrant summer seaside atmosphere.
Tips
About 5 minutes walk from Ryugoji Temple. On fireworks day evening, the station area and restaurants get extremely crowded—dining early is recommended. The Katase Kaigishi Nishi-hama venue is accessible on foot.
Best time to visit
Allow about 1 hour 50 minutes. Finishing dinner before sunset leaves time for finding a good viewing spot.
