About this spot

This relocation consultation desk in Itanzawa (伊丹沢), Iitate Village (飯舘村), is set up inside the 'Madei-na Ie' (までいな家), a model home for environmentally coexistent housing. In addition to answering questions about relocating and subsidies, it also offers village tours and guidance, sharing information about life in the village. It's a place where you can take in views of fields spreading across the mountainside while hearing directly from people who live in the village, offering a peaceful time you can't experience in the city.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Madei-kan (道の駅までい館). Advance reservations are recommended for experience programs. Wear clothes you can move around in easily.

About 1 hour 15 minutes. The green of the fields looks especially beautiful in the bright afternoon light
