At the Hayama Lake Observatory (はやま湖展望台), which overlooks Hayama Lake (はやま湖, Mano Dam Lake), you can slowly take in the view of the lake and mountain ridges. The calm lake surface, reflecting the surrounding mountains, is a beautiful sight enveloped in the quiet unique to a mountain village. Since this is also the venue for tonight's fireworks, walking around here during the day makes it easier to picture a good viewing spot.
Tips
Just a few minutes' drive from Mano Dam (真野ダム). There are a lot of insects in summer, so it's reassuring to bring insect repellent.
