A street with a calm, castle-town atmosphere spreading in front of JR Shirakawa Station. With restaurants and shops lining the street, it's the perfect place to satisfy your appetite with local cuisine and take a breather. Ease the fatigue from a day of historical exploration while preparing for the evening fireworks viewing and securing a spot at the venue. Since the festival grounds become even more crowded later in the evening, spending this time relaxed is recommended.

2026年8月2日(日)19時30分開催、白河関まつりを締めくくる花火大会です。復元された小峰城の櫓を望む城山公園から、夜空に約5,500発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。城下町の歴史を感じさせる建物と花火が重なり合う光景は、白河ならではの趣ある眺め。1日かけて城下町を巡った締めくくりにふさわしい、家族みんなで見上げる夏の夜のクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は白河駅周辺が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめ。足元が暗い箇所もあるのでスマホのライトで安全に。

Tips

Accessible by car or bus from Shirakawa Shukkoan. On the festival day, parking lots around the station become congested, so allow extra time for travel. Shiroyama Park is within walking distance from here.
