Watch Approximately 1,800 Fireworks in the Clear Night Sky of the High-Altitude Plateau
About this spot
A fireworks display marking the finale of Tsumagoi Village's largest summer festival, held at the Agatsuma River floodplain. From 7 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, approximately 1,800 fireworks burst one after another in the clear night sky above the high-altitude plateau. The venue's unique setting surrounded by mountains creates an impressive viewing experience with excellent acoustic resonance. The cool night breeze of the mountain resort brings a refreshing quality to the fireworks that differs from lowland displays.
