About this spot

This park is maintained on the hill where Matsukawa Castle once stood, with lush green walking paths continuing throughout. From the hilltop, unique to a castle ruin, you can also look out over the townscape of Matsukawa and the surrounding mountains, making it a spot where you can enjoy historical and nature walks at the same time. Stop by at the start of the day to feel the atmosphere of this mountain town.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Refresh Town Matsukawa no Sato. The park has stone steps, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

About 1 hour needed. Early afternoon is relatively cool and easy for a stroll
