About this spot

This is a hot spring inn operated by Matsukawa Town in southern Shinshu. Its colorless, transparent alkaline simple hot spring is known for its smooth, silky feel, with a total of nine baths, including indoor and outdoor options, plus a sauna, and even an observation bath overlooking the Southern Alps. The grounds also include an indoor heated pool with water slides, a mallet golf course, and a parent-child interaction park. Tonight's fireworks will also be launched from the area around Seiryuen. Have dinner while feeling the cool mountain breeze, and wait for the show to begin.

Tips

The surrounding area gets crowded from evening onward on the day of the festival. It's a good idea to get your food and drinks early. Evenings can get colder than expected, so don't forget something to layer on.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours needed. Dusk in the mountains is a pleasant time with a cool breeze
