This park is maintained on the ruins of the residence said to have been the Sanada clan's base, and parts of the earthworks and moat from that time still remain today. Walking through this quiet park surrounded by greenery, you can imagine the life of the Sanada clan, who made a name for themselves as a warlord family during the Sengoku period. Walking here with the knowledge gained at the history museum makes the experience even more rewarding.
Tips
About 5 minutes by car from the Sanada Clan History Museum. Some parts of the grounds are unpaved, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
