Around Usami Beach, the venue for the Usami Summer Festival Marine Fireworks Display, many families begin gathering as evening approaches ahead of the show. Have dinner at a local eatery or with food you've brought, and spend a relaxed moment before the show begins. The sea at dusk shows a calm expression quite different from daytime, and watching the sun go down while waiting for the fireworks is a luxurious way to pass the time. Having dinner right at the venue is also convenient, since it lets you hold your spot while you wait for the show to start.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Ito hot-spring district. Roads nearby get crowded on the day of the fireworks display, so an early arrival is recommended.
