The riverbank west of Ichiki Fureai Onsen Center (市来ふれあい温泉センター), the venue for the Ichikikushikino Fireworks Festival, starts filling up with families as evening approaches. Spend a relaxed stretch of time before the show starts, having dinner from summer festival food stalls or something you brought with you. Watching the sky change color as the sun sets gradually builds the anticipation for the fireworks. Having dinner right at the venue is also convenient, since you can hold your spot while you wait for the show to begin.

About 15 minutes by car from the Satsuma Kushikino Tuna Hall Local Products Center. Parking fills up as the fireworks start time approaches, so an early arrival is recommended.

About 3 hours 15 minutes. It gets especially crowded around sunset, so plan to arrive early.
