About this spot

The administrative center of Wadomari-cho on Okinoerabujima, a new building that opened in January 2019. Built around the concept of 'an open town hall loved by residents,' it houses the Yui Hall on the first floor along with counters for JA (the agricultural cooperative) and the Legal Affairs Bureau. It also has ample parking. On the day of the Port Festival, pick up dinner in this central part of town before heading to Wadomari Port, the fireworks venue. Spend this time as the sun starts to set relaxing with your family while waiting for the show to begin.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Kasaishi Coastal Park. Shops near the venue get crowded right before the fireworks, so shopping during this window is recommended.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. The time before sunset, as it starts to cool down, is comfortable to spend here.
