A scenic landscape spread across the middle slopes of Asogi Mountain (朝来山), which towers on the far bank of Takeda Castle Ruins. Known as a photography spot offering views of Takeda Castle Ruins floating in sea of clouds. During the day, you can enjoy forest bathing while walking along wooded paths and viewing Takeda Castle Ruins in the distance. The hiking paths along the ravine are relatively cool even during summer, perfect for resting feet tired from climbing Takeda Castle Ruins.

2026年8月16日(日)、山々に囲まれた朝来の地で開催されるあさご夏祭り花火大会です。約1,850発の花火が、19時40分から21時までの長い時間をかけて夜空に打ち上がります。山に囲まれた立地のため花火の音が反響し、都市部の花火大会とはひと味違う迫力が味わえます。昼間に訪れた天空の城の景観を思い出しながら見上げる花火は、朝来の1日の締めくくりにふさわしいひとときです。

Tips

荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は朝来市の公式発表を確認しましょう。花火の時間が長いため、水分補給をしながらゆっくり楽しみましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合います。

Tips

Travel by car from Takeda Castle Ruins. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the forest paths have steps. Allow extra time as there is some walking to reach the observation point.
