The castle ruins where the Yamazaki clan's feudal administration was once located, with the jin'ya gate still remaining as part of it. Though it was a flat castle without a main tower, it is a valuable historic structure that conveys the history of its prosperity as a castle town. Scattered throughout the surrounding area are townscapes that evoke the feudal period, and you can leisurely walk with your family in the calm atmosphere characteristic of a mountain valley castle town. 2026年8月13日(木)、山々に囲まれた宍粟市山崎町で開催される山崎納涼夏祭りの花火大会です。約1,300発の花火が、20時から20時30分までの30分間、せせらぎ公園の夜空に凝縮して打ち上がります。山あいの立地のため花火の音が反響し、都市部の花火大会とはひと味違う迫力が味わえます。昼間に訪れた城跡や清流の景色を思い出しながら見上げる花火は、山崎の1日の締めくくりにふさわしいひとときです。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は宍粟市の公式発表を確認しましょう。花火の時間が短いため、開始10分前には見やすい場所についておくのがおすすめです。終了後は帰路が混み合います。
