The riverbed of the Iho River (揖保川), a clear stream flowing through Shiso City, is a natural sightseeing spot surrounded by mountains. Even in summer, the mountain valley breeze feels pleasant, and you can walk leisurely while gazing at the shimmering water surface. Close to the venue where fireworks will be displayed tonight, you can experience the atmosphere of the riverside during the day. The charm unique to a mountain valley town is that children can enjoy searching for creatures in the water.

2026年8月13日(木)、山々に囲まれた宍粟市山崎町で開催される山崎納涼夏祭りの花火大会です。約1,300発の花火が、20時から20時30分までの30分間、せせらぎ公園の夜空に凝縮して打ち上がります。山あいの立地のため花火の音が反響し、都市部の花火大会とはひと味違う迫力が味わえます。昼間に訪れた城跡や清流の景色を思い出しながら見上げる花火は、山崎の1日の締めくくりにふさわしいひとときです。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は宍粟市の公式発表を確認しましょう。花火の時間が短いため、開始10分前には見やすい場所についておくのがおすすめです。終了後は帰路が混み合います。
