About this spot

This park, with a landscape rare even nationwide, was developed by making use of a site that was once a quarry for Sapporo soft stone. Sheer rock walls and monuments resembling works of art are dotted throughout, offering a uniquely beautiful sense of space. The lush grounds also have well-maintained walking paths, making it a perfect spot to unwind after sightseeing at Mt. Moiwa. It's also close to Bankei Ski Area, the fireworks venue, making it a convenient location for using your time efficiently before evening.

Tips

Some areas around the rock walls can be slippery underfoot, so take care. A parking lot is also available, making it convenient to stop by car.
