This is the fireworks display of the 53rd Iwanai Dotou Matsuri, held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Iwanai Town facing the Sea of Japan. About 5,000 fireworks shells launch one after another into the night sky above the special venue by the sea. Watching the fireworks while recalling the majestic scenery of the Raiden Coast seen during the day makes for a fitting close to your day in Iwanai.
