This fireworks festival, held at the special venue on the Shinmachi riverbank along the Ishikari River, brings Takikawa's summer to a close. Alongside the lively bon dance around the yagura tower, fireworks color the night sky starting at around 7:30 PM. With the fireworks' light reflecting on the river and the sound of drums overlapping, you can experience the warm atmosphere unique to a summer festival rooted in the local community.
