This is the 44th edition of the local summer festival, held on the banks of the Toshibetsu River in Asahi-cho, Ashoro Town. Alongside the lively bon dance centered around the yagura tower, fireworks color the night sky starting at 7:30 PM. In the warm atmosphere unique to a town-wide hometown festival, you can enjoy the fireworks' light reflected on the river's surface.
