This sports park for Arida City spreads out along the banks of the Arida River. With a baseball field, a ball-sports field that doubles as a track-and-field ground, a multipurpose sports ground, and more, its spacious grounds are also great for a walk, letting you stroll leisurely through the open riverside scenery. It's within walking distance of JR Kii-Miyahara Station. In the afternoon before the fireworks, this is a perfect spot to relax while feeling the flow of the river.
Tips
About a 10-minute drive from Minoshima Port. Since sunset comes early in October, it's a good idea to walk around while it's still light out.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour needed. A stroll in the soft light before evening is especially recommended
