The grounds display offerings of giant straw sandals (わらじ), which make a striking visual impression. Located on the mountainside, the temple grounds also offer good views, allowing you to overlook the mountain ranges of Hanno. It's positioned on the mountain trail leading to Takedera Temple (竹寺), making it a convenient spot to take a leisurely break and visit.

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、飯能市や竹寺の発表を当日確認しましょう。山道の帰路は暗くなるため、懐中電灯やスマホのライトを必ず用意してください。終了後は駐車場や山道が混み合うため、少し時間を置いてから下山するのがおすすめです。

Tips

About 30 minutes by car from Lake Miyazawa; follow your car's navigation and drive safely along the mountain road. There are stairs to the temple grounds, so wear comfortable walking shoes. While the mountain trail connects to Takedera Temple (竹寺), due to the distance, traveling by car is standard.
