Walk the long approach path like a green tunnel and pay your respects
About this spot
A shrine long cherished by locals as the guardian shrine of Iwatsuki, with a long approach path covered by dense trees being its greatest attraction. As you walk along the approach path deeper into the shrine, you'll feel the air becoming clearer, and even on hot summer days, the tree shade brings coolness. There is a pond within the grounds, creating a peaceful spot for a quiet moment. Even on the fireworks festival day, it remains relatively uncrowded and allows for leisurely worship.

Tips
Tips
About 20 minutes on foot from the Iwatsuki Station shopping street; bus service is also convenient. The approach path is long, so wear comfortable shoes. Entry is free, and Iwatsuki Castle Ruins Park is also within walking distance.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes required. The shaded approach path is easy to walk even on hot summer days
