This shopping street runs along a city road leading straight to Hofu Tenmangu Shrine; the Tenjin-cho Ginza Shopping Street Promotion Association built its arcade in 1966. Located on the south side of the former National Route 2, it is a street that has long been cherished by residents as part of the shrine's approach. On the day of the festival, food stalls line up, and as the sun sinks lower, the festival atmosphere builds. It is a perfect time to lift your spirits ahead of the fireworks while grabbing dinner.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Amida-ji Temple. From evening onward on the day of the festival, it gets very crowded, so it is recommended to finish dinner early. Also keep an eye on your valuables.
