A safari park set within the karst plateau where you can observe diverse animals—lions, giraffes, zebras and more—up close from your vehicle. Walking zones and animal interactions are also available, offering experiences enjoyable for small children. The animals living in the majestic natural setting of the karst plateau offer a distinctly different appeal compared to typical zoos.
Tips
About a 5-minute drive from the Akiyoshi Plateau Karst Observation Deck. Private vehicles are standard for entry to the safari zone, though rental safari cars are also available. In summer, stay hydrated frequently as heat precaution.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes required. Late afternoon when temperatures begin cooling is comfortable for wildlife observation.
