Held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, this fireworks display marks the grand finale of the 67th Mizunami Minogenji Tanabata Festival. Fireworks are launched into the night sky along the Tokigawa riverside. Opening together with the wishes of the Tanabata festival, the fireworks are a summer tradition long cherished by the local community. Enjoy an evening of fireworks, savoring the lingering impressions of the fossils, pottery, and post town stroll from earlier in the day.

The area around Mizunami Station gets very crowded afterward, so it's recommended to leave home at a staggered time.
