This museum introduces the history of Nakatsugawa, which flourished as a post town on the Nakasendo. Exhibits display materials conveying what travel was like and how people lived in the post town at the time, helping you understand more deeply the background of Nakatsugawa-juku and Naegi Castle Ruins visited earlier in the day. The museum is air-conditioned, so it's also a nice point that you can learn while staying cool during the hot summer hours.
