Located in Maesawa, known as the home of Maesawa beef, this museum is themed around cattle and is rare even on a global scale. Models and materials clearly explain the history and culture of cattle and the differences between breeds, and there is even a corner where you can interact with real cows. The facility is packed with new discoveries about cattle for both children and adults. Learning how the Maesawa beef brand was cultivated will deepen your understanding of this region.

Tips

This is the first destination of the day. It's convenient to access by car, and since it gets crowded with families during summer vacation, a visit from the morning through early afternoon is recommended.

About 1 hour 15 minutes needed. The museum is air-conditioned, making it a great place to cool off from the summer heat.
