2026年8月15日(土)開催、民話の里・遠野の夏を締めくくる花火大会です。早瀬川の川面を舞台に花火が打ち上がり、周囲を囲む里山に音が反響して独特の情緒を生み出します。昼間訪れたカッパ淵や物語の館で触れた伝説を思い出しながら見上げる花火は、他の街とはひと味違う物語性を感じさせてくれます。遠野の人々に愛されてきた、夏の夜を彩る特別な催しです。

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表で確認しましょう。山間部の夜は冷え込むことがあるので羽織ものを。終了後は駐車場までの道が混み合うため、余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。
