About this spot

This restaurant inside Michi-no-Eki Tono Kaze no Oka serves Tono soul food such as roast lamb set meals and Goemon Ramen. The drink counter, Kamado Cafe, offers local beer and original drinks, and from April through October you can also enjoy bucket-style Jingisukan on the observation deck. Set on a hill, it has great views, letting you relax and watch Tono's satoyama hills turn the colors of sunset while you wait for the fireworks.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Tono's central shopping street. Evenings can get cool, as is typical in mountainous areas, so it's reassuring to bring something to layer on.
