An open riverbank area that spreads near the mouth of the Gonokawa River, boasting the largest river width in the Chugoku region. In the spacious green area, children can run freely, and you can feel the leisurely flow unique to a great river up close. Since tonight's fireworks will launch from near the river mouth downstream, experiencing the river's grandeur in daylight will make the evening's viewing all the more enjoyable.

Tips
荒天時の開催可否は江津市や主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。河川敷は足元が暗いので、スマホのライトなどを準備しておくと安心です。

Approximately 10 minutes by car from Gotsu Honmachi Street. There are few things to block the sun, so during summer don't forget sunscreen and hydration. The riverbank ground can be soft in places, so walking shoes are recommended.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. As evening approaches, the river breeze becomes more pleasant.
