While famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot, in summer the lush green gorge walking paths and views from the suspension bridge feel refreshing and pleasant, perfect for family strolls. Since tonight's fireworks will take place in the surrounding riverside area, it's also recommended to get a feel for the venue atmosphere during the day. A moment spent listening to the murmur of the river becomes a particularly comfortable time within the day.

昼間に渓谷美を楽しんだ桜淵公園一帯が、夜には花火を見上げる会場に姿を変えます。豊川の清流沿いに開催される新城納涼花火大会は、約2,000発の花火が渓谷に音を響かせながら夜空を彩る、地元で長く親しまれてきた夏の風物詩です。昼のうちに散策した吊り橋や遊歩道を眼下に、川風に吹かれながら見上げる花火は格別のひとときになります。

Tips

会場周辺は当日大変混雑するため、早めに到着して場所を確保するのがおすすめです。荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。足元が暗いエリアもあるため、小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

Approximately 15 minutes by car from Nagashino Castle Ruins. The suspension bridge sways, so hold small children's hands firmly while crossing. While there are many shaded areas, frequent breaks are recommended during summer.
