This shopping street, well loved locally, is just a short distance from Ryotsu Port. Lined with eateries and souvenir shops, it lets you enjoy dishes made with Sado's seafood as well as local sake. Since it gets even busier from evening onward on the day of the fireworks display, it's reassuring to finish dinner and souvenir shopping during this time. Enjoy the lively port-town atmosphere as you spend some relaxed time before the fireworks begin.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Lake Kamo. Popular eateries can get crowded, so arriving a bit earlier is recommended. Be sure to pick up drinks and insect repellent here as well.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. Earlier in the evening tends to be calmer.
