The route to the falls' pool, which involves walking through the river, feels like an adventure and is popular with children. Even under the strong summer sun, the riverside surrounded by trees stays cool and comfortable, which is part of its appeal. It's a chance for the whole family to experience Yanbaru's rich nature firsthand.
Tips
You can drive here from Roadside Station Ogimi. Since you'll be walking through the river, shoes or sandals that can get wet are essential. Access may be restricted when water levels rise, so check conditions in advance. You'll travel to Shioya Bay next by car.
