A roadside station in the former Aito Town area, popular with families for its garden of seasonal flowers, mini train, and direct-sale stand for local produce. You can stroll the garden to admire the flowers or ride the mini train, with plenty to enjoy for both children and adults. Gelato and bread made with local vegetables and specialty products are also popular, making it a perfect stop for a break.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Hyakusaiji Temple. A fee applies for part of the garden and the mini train. The parking lot can get crowded during summer vacation, so early arrival is recommended. Next, drive to Senjuji Temple.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 45 minutes. The afternoon, when the sunlight softens, is a good time for a garden stroll.
