Within the grounds stands a charming tea house architecture that was built as the feudal lord's villa, allowing you to recall the history of Daishouji Domain during the Edo period. The lush, green shrine grounds are enveloped in a calm atmosphere far from the hustle and bustle of the town, making it perfect for a family visit. As the starting point to touch upon the history of Daishouji Domain, which became the origin of the "Jūman Ishi Festival" conveyed by tonight's fireworks display, this is a most fitting location.

旧大聖寺藩十万石の歴史を伝える秋祭り「十万石まつり」のクライマックスを飾る花火大会です。加賀市役所前広場周辺を会場に、城下町の夜空へ次々と花火が打ち上がります。昼間歩いた歴史ある街並みが夜の帳とともに祭り一色に染まり、地域の人々の思いが込められた花火が街全体を彩ります。城下町散策の締めくくりにふさわしい、歴史と光が重なる特別な時間です。

荒天時は中止・延期となる場合があるため、当日は加賀市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は会場周辺の道路や駅が混み合うため、しばらく余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。

About 10 minutes on foot from JR Daishouji Station (JR大聖寺駅). Shrine visit is free. The grounds are compact and easy to walk around in a short time. Zenshouji Temple is about 10 minutes on foot away.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes required. Early afternoon, during quiet hours, is recommended.
