This fireworks display is the climax of the Jumangoku Matsuri, an autumn festival that carries on the history of the former Daishoji Domain's 100,000 koku. Centered around the plaza in front of Kaga City Hall, fireworks are launched one after another into the night sky over the castle town. The historic streets you walked through during the day take on a festive atmosphere as night falls, and fireworks filled with the feelings of the local community color the whole town.
