Its branches, spreading across the sky, are nothing short of breathtaking, and the presence of a tree that has lived for such a long time inevitably stops visitors in their tracks. The temple grounds are peaceful with excellent views from the stone steps—a perfect spot to experience the power of nature during a hot spring town exploration.

荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日は湯河原町の公式発表で確認を。開始時刻が20時と遅いため、開始1時間前には場所を確保しておくと安心です。終了後は駅周辺が混み合うため、しばらく余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。

About a 15-minute walk from Gosho Shrine. There are stone steps, so wear comfortable walking shoes. The temple grounds are free to visit. Next, you'll return to the Yugawara hot spring town shopping street on foot.
