About this spot
A shopping street extending in front of Joshu Tomioka Station (上州富岡駅), which also serves as the gateway to Tomioka Silk Mill. Local restaurants and souvenir shops are scattered throughout, allowing you to enjoy town walking while reflecting on your silk mill tour. Though not a large-scale tourist facility, it's a pleasant walking course where you can feel the atmosphere of Tomioka's daily life.

荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いので、スマホのライトがあると安心です。

About 10 minutes by car from the Natural History Museum. Business hours vary by shop, so visit early if there's a particular shop you're interested in. You can reach the fireworks venue area by foot or car.
