About this spot

Located just a few minutes' walk from Joshu-Tomioka Station, the gateway to the World Heritage Tomioka Silk Mill, this craft beer brewery began brewing in 2021. It offers distinctive beers made with seasonal Tomioka ingredients such as ginger, kiwi, and Nanko plum, and is also certified as a Gunma local-production-for-local-consumption promotion shop. It's a great stop for enjoying a walk through town while savoring the afterglow of your silk mill visit and getting a feel for everyday life in Tomioka.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from the natural history museum. Check the opening hours in advance before stopping by. You'll travel to the area around the next venue on foot or by car.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. A slightly calmer time in the afternoon is easiest for walking around.
