About this spot

This is a multi-purpose plaza for Isesaki City, open on the riverbed of the Tone River, large enough to fit one soccer field, one baseball field, and four softball fields. Since it's an open riverbed with nothing blocking the view, you can spend time taking in the river and sky. On the day of the fireworks display, food stalls line the area, and a festive bustle spreads from the evening onward. After returning from Isesaki Shrine, spread out a leisure sheet to secure your viewing spot while having dinner at the food stalls.

Tips

From evening onward on the day of the fireworks display, the surrounding roads become congested. It's recommended to get food early, before the stalls get crowded. October nights get cold, so come prepared with solid cold-weather gear.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. Spending time around sunset, as the color of the river's surface changes, is recommended.
