A historic temple on a high plateau near Torride Station, known for its unique spiral-passageway temple building called "Sazaedo" (Sazae-do). From the temple grounds, you can view the townscape of Torride and the direction of the Tonegawa River, allowing you to spend a peaceful time. During the hot summer hours, the green trees create a pleasant shaded area.

2026年8月8日(土)19時から開催される、利根川河川敷を舞台にした大規模な花火大会です。約10,000発の花火が夜空いっぱいに次々と打ち上がり、開けた河川敷からその迫力を存分に味わえます。静かな利根川の川面に花火が映り込む美しさも、この大会ならではの見どころです。フィナーレの大連発が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認しましょう。大規模大会のため終了後は周辺道路や駅が大変混雑します。少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いので、スマホのライトがあると安心です。

It's about a 10-minute walk from Torride Station on a high plateau. If you can visit inside the Sazaedo, confirm the hours and conditions. Since there are stone steps, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour. The slightly quieter afternoon hours are best for visiting the temple.
