About this spot

A rare regular ferry service in the Kanto region, connecting Obori district of Torride City and the opposite bank separated by the Tonegawa River. The few-minute boat journey across the river is a precious experience to feel up close the Tonegawa River where fireworks will light up at night during the daytime. The river breeze from the boat is pleasant and creates a memorable moment for children.

The ferry's operation times vary by season and day of the week, so check the schedule in advance. When boarding, follow the guidance for safety such as wearing a life jacket.

Best time to visit

Takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. It's recommended to cross the river in the soft afternoon sunlight.
