This is a beautiful red-brick Catholic church built on a hilltop overlooking the Hirado Strait. Known as a symbol of the Tabira landscape, it offers a panoramic view of the sea toward the Hirado Bridge from in front of the church. It is still an active church today, so when visiting, please be mindful of its atmosphere as a place of prayer. It is also close to Tabira Port, making it a fitting, calm starting point for the course.
